This is one of three songs left over from the recording sessions that produced the second Limesix album, *Heart Attack High*. It didn't fit thematically or tonally, but it was always a fun one to play live. The title references (of course) the 80s classic The Karate Kid, but the lyrics are from the perspective of someone you know who cares entirely too much about you. We've all had (or been) a friend (or lover) like that, I think. Hopefully it ended well.
